Received the standard Defence papers from Wragge yesterday. The had until 5th September to respond and the defence looks the same as that most people receive. Will I now get a letter from Court stating the case has been stayed ? There is no mention of them requesting it be stayed in the defence. Surely filing a defence is a contradiction to a stay. Should I wait a letter from Court and then appeal the stay or what other action should I take ? Have any NI readers had any response at all from A&L in the past week or so re their case ?

Yes I have issued a Civil Bill in N Ireland and delivering by hand later today my Court Bundle to Bank's Belfast Solocitors. Have a Court Date early in October but I wonder will Court now postpone this ?

A&L have a statement on their website stating any new and pending cases will now have to wait until after the OFT Test Case is heard and this is likely to take a year !!! Should the Banks loose this case they are going to have to pay out some hefty amounts in Interest alone.

I am from NI and claiming against A&L via a Civil Bill. You must use their registered NI Addresss in Belfast in your claim.

I am claiming around 13,000 from A&L including Interest and have just received from them a cheque for 4,500 pounds which I am refusing to accept and returning to them.
