  2. ...thanks for the quick replies I get an file damaged error when opening the pdf?
  3. Is it possible to make a claim for mis-sold PPI if you've actually claimed on the policy? Was unemployed for 14months in 2008? I have and M&S Money CC and a Cahoot (now Santander) loan, also a Burtons SC that started charging PPI since being taken over by Santander Having searched through endless pages I can't seem to find an answer. If it is possible would the first step be sending a full SAR letter (can't seem to find a definitive step-by-step claiming guide with relevant templates either - sorry! LOL)
  4. Not had a reply from HBOS or BO&S. Have paid off my overdraft to settle the outstanding amount. Did receive a reply from the IFO, giving me forms to complete to take my claim further. Also a not has been next to the default stating that I claim it was applied whilst the amount was in dispute!!
  5. Ok, received a letter from Reading CC asking me to provide a reason for the case to be heard since the High Court ruling! Is there any real point??! And a letter from the HBOS saying that since the High Court ruling I can take my claim and shove it! Oh well, will have to be satisfied with the 4.5K I've managed to reclaim from then over the past 5years and put this £800 down to experience. Will diver my attention to getting the default removed from my credit file now!
  6. Supreme Court Ruling - what a joke! Ah well, once again we get screwed over - now have to find £815 to get HBOS of my back! And no doubt they will now ramp up the actions of the collection agencies to get what ever is owed to them back.
  7. Currently claiming back bank charges, full thread- dogspods_-v-_halifax_III Short version, N1 was filed with the court, and AQ completed and sent. HBOS have until today (24/11/09) to file the defence but last Fri I had an email alert of action on my credit file, when I checked HBOS had placed a Default Notice on my file! I know they aren't allowed to do this as the account is currently in dispute so I need advice on how to get it removed.
  8. If you've been using THIS_TEMPLATE to calculate the total amount of charges you should have 3 totals, total amount of charges (£AA.AA), total amount of associated interest on charges (£BB.BB) and the total amount of interest @ 8% (£CC.CC) The Value section of the N1 should then look like this: Charges £AA.AA Associated overdraft interest charges £BB.BB Restituionary damages, or- Interest under s.69 County Courts Act 1984 £CC.CC Court Fee £xx.xx TOTAL £ xx.xx (A+B+C+Fee)
  9. Feckers! They really are a law unto themselves. Girlfriend is now throwing a fit as we're in the middle of buying a house and she's panicking that it will fall through due to my now bad credit rating. Anyway, letters sent to all parties.....
  10. Have just checked my credit report after an email alert and the HBOS have placed a default on my account!!!
  11. Thanks Slick, that was my plan - assuming HBOS received letter today as well that gives them until Tuesday!
  12. Another letter from BO&S this morning- "...we are urgently trying to contact you to discuss the repayment of your debt however you do not appear to have responded to our requests for payment of provided acceptable repayment proposals... Blah Blah Blah..." Also a letter from the court - General Form of Judgement or Order - giving HBOS 7 days to file the AQ, it was dated 16/11.
  13. NEXT included a photocopy of a letter from their Collections dept asking for the arrears to be paid by xx date if not they will pass it on to a DCA. I cannot remember receiving this letter. The amount outstanding was paid in full once the DCA contacted me.
