  2. Hi, I have had a similar experience with e2save - I sent the relevant airtime bill by 1st class recorded delivery and presumed I would receive my cheque in due course, they sent me a letter after the 'expiry date' stating that the bill had been received too late so I then phoned royal mail to ask how it could have taken over 8 days for them to deliver and the reason was that the postcode supplied on my chequeback vouchers was incorrect. I have tried to phone them but their office always seems to be closed and have e-mailed but got no response [grr!] so I think I will write using a similar letter [once I can establish their correct address of course!] Thanks, Arfon
  3. Thanks for the advice cheddar and tarka, I will try to claim charges back after reading about it, there have been more charges than this too. What I was really annoyed about though is how they decided to cancel my dd instruction to my car insurers altogether without my consent, surely this is illegal?
  4. Hi, I haven't posted on here before but I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a natwest step account, because they would'nt give me a proper one despite me having a mortgage etc, I was made redundant in dec 05 and have consequently been a bit short of money; my mortgage has been paid every month but I was a few pounds short of my car ins. dd in feb so they refused it and charged me £38 [grr!] it was re-presented a few days later and paid as i had put money in, then the same thing happened in march, I was again charged £38, my partner had transferred enough money to cover the dd on the day but it was still refused and i was charged so i resigned to paying in more to cover it but then received a letter from my car ins asking me to ring them, they told methat natwest had cancelled this dd altogether, I phoned natwest and they [rather patronisingly] said that as this dd had been returned twice in 2 months they had no choice but to cancel it [as well as charging through the nose!] Are they allowed to do this? they did'nt even inform me by letter about the charges, or the cancellation of the dd.?
