  1. Received letter from Capquest today. The dispute I raised on the account was prior to their involvement and they have therefore closed the account on their system.....in other words i've WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. story so far..... 1. letter from Capquest re Nat West Debt 2. sent CCA request to Capquest 3. letter from HL legal (arrived before Capquest received CCA request) 4 letter from Capquest to say account on hold for 28 days while they get info 5. letter from Nat West to say that my signature ,PRINTED by the way, didnt match what was held on their records and could I take my passport or drivers license into a Nat West branch so they can forward it on. 6. on 29.12.09 letter to be sent to Capquest to say their 12+2 days have expired Should I send any reply to Nat West or just continue with the communication with Capquest??????

  4. Back to the original thread, I have today 21.12.09 received a letter from Capquest informing me that following my request for a CCA request the account is now on hold for 28 days whilst they obtain the info required
  5. me thinks it was a loan, funny thing is its over 6 years too and the Original Creditor, Nat West, was included in my IVA which i completed in 2008 so it should be an interesting one
  6. letter dated 2.12.09 from capquest saying a debt with natwest has been referred to them. contact to be made by 15.12.09 or passed on to HL Legal 9.12.09 CCA request to Capquest...no reply yet...they have till 23.12.09 17.12.09 letter from HL Legal solicitors in association with Sampson & Co.dated 14.12.09 unless payment or proposal for payment made by 25.12.09 then court proceeedings may be issued... do i reply to this or wait until i hear from Capquest (re CCA)...any advice is welcome please

  8. Just received letter from Amex, maintaining charges were clear properly disclosed to me and could have been avoided providing i complied with terms and agreement..... Then goes on to say that since July 1 2006 they have dropped their charges to £8...OFT said in April 2006 that charges of more than £12 unfair... and basically this is what i am claiming!!!. I have not even claimed the £8 charges applied since then what next...? any advice please ??

Just received my statements from AMEX within a week (and they sent back the £10 application fee as a goodwill gesture) I have gone through them and found £215 in charges applied as late payment fees I am sending my letter today to request repayment of these fees and will update you accordingly when i have more news
