As late or slow as I have acted, bearing in mind I'm aware of the stop/freeze claim thing that has happened in court, on the 11th August 08 I wrote to the Clydesdale Bank(Baillieston Branch Glasgow)to ask for the 1.610.00 pounds they have taken from my account in charges. As it is four weeks now and haven't had notice/acknowledgement of my personally handed in letter to the branch, what is my next step in the process? Have I to sit back and wait on any appeal etc? or just ask the branch for some form of refund which would be welcome at the present time regards my financial status at the present time?? Hi my car is manual transmission. Regards a sim module apparantly it is do with the electrics when I drove the car home from perth the speedo/cruise control kept cutting out and my lights stayed on permanently!! once module was fitted I needed to get the keys re-programmed still not got my cd/radio working and I have the code for it keeps saying SAFE followed by a number. My lights come on when I choose now. Hope this has helped?

I would keep at them if not satisfied contact the BBC Watchdog team on their website. I too drive a Vectra (02 plate) that didn't have a speedo when I drove it out of the showroom it didn't have a warranty because of the age but they agreed to replace a Sim Module? at a cost of £300. I had to get key transponder thing replaced in my spare and I still can't get my cd/radio to work even though I have the right code!! My second scenario was my 04 plate Corsa going on fire, a problem with moisture getting into the ABS control unit and burning out the wiring harness and electrics. The car was off the road for two weeks and the parts had to be sent from Germany. No-one told me what the problem was or how it happened until I have recieved three phone calls from family and friends telling me to switch my tv on to watch Watchdog. Options where not to buy another Vauxhall or deal with Arnold Clark again. I'm a sucker for doing both. p.s. hope you get the seats fixed

I have recieved a letter too from the Clydesdale Bank aknowledging the £10 sent and that they can supply me with my past 5yr statements. It also says as follow - "If you have requested information relating to manual intervention on your account, please note that the Data Protection Act 1998 does not specifically require data controllers to disclose whether its processing activities were conducted manually or on an automated basis and nor does it specifically require disclosure of the reason why one method of processing may have been prefered in any particular case" this was sent from Advice Quality Unit. So where do I stand ? will i get my cash back once i add the charges up ? what's the next move ? please help

Phew!! Seems like a nightmare having read folks involvment with AK I dunno if I have the strength to play tennis with them (letters lost) etc. Anyway I got a PC in 1999 first payments 11mth@£50.00 final payment£750.00 which I get to £1300.00 Having been threatened with court action I ended up paying £50 p/m and have so far paid at least £660.00 due to being left with marrital debts of £4000.00 However, I've been informed that I owe them £1100.00 outstanding I have requested repeatedly over the phone that they supply the original consumer credit agreement, and they have not. I ceased paying any monies to Aktiv Kapital after speaking to the Legal Services Agency in Scotland and a local sheriff officer. Out of the blue I was contacted offering me a chance to clear the alleged debt on sat 23/3/07 again I requested a copy of the document and they said "I don't think we have that". To summon everything up, can you be taken to court in Scotland for interest charges ?? let me know anyone fanx badger1970
