  1. Ive read many threads but am still unclear as to the next step. my claim was stayed probably a year ago. Is it still a waiting game until the banks appeal or the Fsa decide how much the charges actually cost the banks. will the courts now lift the stays.

  2. Hi All,

fantastic news about the case. What does it really mean to us all. I've read many threads over the weekend but I can't seem to understand it.

Does it mean that the banks will now have to pay up.

I have received 65% of my abbey claim under hardship rules . But was told I would be able to claim the rest back if the banks lost. Think they have lost so what is the next step.

    Regards Teresa

  3. Just another thought. At the abbey I spoke to a mr ronan coyle on 02077564398. He was very very nice. His fax no is 02076381112. I faxed my claim and then called 5 days later to see if they had received it. Perhaps give him a call and speak to him. Not sure he will do anything if your claim has not been stayed but you have nothing to lose in trying.

  4. Hi I've just had my hardship claim agreed after just 3 weeks. The money cleared my account today.

I was in contact with Ronan coyle. I spoke to him twice. First, I faxed my info to him and then three days after I phoned to confirm he'd received it. He said no and gave me a different fax number. Again, I phoned four days later and was told they had received it and it was being looked at.

I'm not at work today but when I am iI'll post the telephone numbers and fax numbers that I used.

Ronan Coyle seemed a really nice guy, despite working for Abbey. I was nice to him and thanked him for answering the phone knowing how busy he was.

    Will post numbers tomorrow.

  5. My son, last night, received a PCN whilst he was parked in an NCP carpark.

He was not parked in the bay properly. He was about 12 inches over the white line onto the parking bay next to it. He arrived at the car park about 6.45 p.m. and the level he was on had approx 6 cars in it. They are saying the fine is £50 but if you pay within 14 days it will be only £25.

Is this enforcable or do they threaten with court action to make you pay but never actually go to court.

  6. It took about 3 and a half weeks.

I faxed the info over and then called after about a week to see if it had arrived. Mr coyle answered and said he hadn't received it and gave me a different fax number to send it too. I then re sent it and again phoned about 4 days after to see if it had been received. A lady answered and confirmed that they had received it. Each time I have rung someone answered within 3 or 4 rings. I then didn't contact them again until this evening when Mr Coyle phoned me to tell me they had agreed my claim

    I still am in shock!!!!!
