  1. My husband received a Notice of Intended Prosecution whilst in Bournemouth at 10.26:02 on 27/12/2009. The Central Ticket Office processed this ticket on 29/12/09 and it dropped through our door 30/12/09. Pretty amazing. The Notice has no amount on it, it says it is supported by video or photographic evidence with a warning that the penalty for failing to supply information is greater than that of the alleged offence itself. Pretty amazing. Many years ago I fought parking tickets from London and remember at that time, words like contravention played an important part in whether the ticket was valid or not. Is that still the case or does it not apply to Dorset? It really peeves me to let them get away with it, so any help would be appreciated. Many thanks. M
  2. Hi, new to Nat West, have previously succeeded with LTSB, but Nat West is for a sole trader business account only. They have consistently charged me unlawful charges, I have my statements, so will get highlighting and get back with my figure. Any help along the way will be appreciated Many thanks CTJ
  3. Really good news, will be watching your case, GOOD LUCK
  4. Hi after a long road, and talk of giving up, glad to say that Lloyds threw in the towel before I needed to, money paid into bank account yesterday. Like to thanks Kazzie for her help and everyone else , once I get sorted donation will be on it's way
  5. Sorry to say but I've had enough and am throwing in the towel. Resume follows. 2/2/07 asked for charges back by phone 04/02/07 request for repayment of charges in writing 13/02/07 blah blah blah letter 1/3/07 asking for it back 15/3/07 letter before action 20/3/07 prepared to pay you £612 into single account, credit this account within 10 days 23/4/07 letter to Mr & Mrs ********. Thank you for getting in touch with us regarding ***** (joint account). I note that our Legal Dept settled your claim on 22/11/06, don't think there is any more we can do, 27/4/07 letter to Mr and Mrs stating so0rry you're not happy. Uanable to add any more, we see from our records you have already issued court claim 8/5/07 letter to Andover saying thank you for your various letters dated 20th/23rd and 27th April, which due to Easter holidays, all arrived 29th April. I respectfully decline your offer and request once again that you return to me charges totalling £999.43. I will accept the sum offered only as part settlement and pursue recovery of remainder. My LBA dated 15/3/07 indicates that you have until 5/5/07 to respond before I proceed. As you are aware I have already issued claim for repayment of these fees, and your solicitors are dealing with this. This letter ,makes you aware that we no longer have joint account number ****, this current claim relates to the amounts charged between 22/11/06 and today. Please do not credit joint account with any monies. (Put the balance where you put the first £612). 8th May Notice that Acknowledgment of Service has beedn filed. The defendant has 28 days from tjhe date of service of the claim to file a defence. This I think takes me up to 5th June. Next thing, receive letter from Romford Court telling me District Judge Bowles has allocated case to small claims track. Preliminary Hearing 27th July 10-.00 a.m. 10 minutes. I take it what I am being asked for is my bundle. Now I have read on the site that people's bundles are amassing 173 pages times 3 copies. This is the point I am hanging up my hat, it's not that I don't need £387.43. its just that I don't think I am going to be able to do it all. I feel that SCM are taking the proverbial p**s and I have too much going on in my life to waste as much time as I already have on this load of xxxxxx's. All my time is spent caring for a wife who has MS, working all the hours I can, asnd to top it all checked my on line statement tonight to see that the thieving bas*****s have taken £60 in charges today, and charged me for putting me £11 overdrawn. So thanks for allowing me this moan, good luck to everybody. Received Notice that Amount Claimed has been Paid on 21/5. The defendant says that the amount you are claiming has been paid. LTSB agreed they had paid £612 on 8th May into my sole account, and had paid £3259 into Claimants bank account (Number of Joint account ) 22/11/06. This was followed by their defence quoting POC does not comply with Rule 16.4 1 (a) of the Civil Procedure Rules, claim shows no reasonable grounds, etc, etc. The Defendant should be given the opportunity to defend the proceedings further. So I spoke to SCM on 24th May Dean Lightwood, Operatilons Manager, who was of no help other than to say that someone would be in touch within 48 hours., that someone was Robert Bush, who showed no interest at all
  6. Congratulations yet another one, got there in the end
  7. Hi, request for repayment of charges 4/2/07, blah blah blah 13/2/07, asking for it back 1/3/07, LBA 15/3/07, Claim put in 16/4/07. Letter sorry you're not happy, prepared to pay you £612 in full and final settlement into your account. Claim was for £999.43 for 2 accounts, one single for £612, and other joint for £335, wife had been paid out for 3 accounts back in November , 2 single accounts and the same joint one I am now attempting to claim for since these were further charges after she had been paid out for in November, confusing or not? LTSB deny they are liable, can't see it myself as like you they have admitted to £612. They have defended this amount on the joint account. now have preliminary hearing on 27/7/07. Seems to me, SC&M do what they like. haven't met me yet!
  8. Hi have been notified that the Preliminary Hearing will take place 27 July at 10.00 a.m ROMFORD COUNTY COURT. 10 minutes have been allowed for hearing. This case may be released to another Judge, possibly at a different court. Been asked to provide: a) schedule setting out each charge repayment of which is sought, showing date, amount, and reason given (if any) for that charge being made; b) copies of any statement or other document relied upon as showing that each and every charge has been made; c) statement of evidence of all matters relied upon as tending to show that all charges are recoverable as penalties or otherwise; d) copies of decided cases and other legal materials to be relied upon If claimant fails to comply with this order, claim will be struck out without further order Grateful to know if anyone else has similar order for July 27 at Romford.
  9. MINT still trying to get MCOL sorted. first problem address. advised to send it to 1 Princes Steet London EC2R 8PB, thing is MCOL says this address is Nat West. Directory enquiries tells me its 32 Cheapside, 0207 477 2454, when it's discovered it's Mint, told it's Southend on Sea 0870 410 0870. Think I'll give it until tomorrow morning to see if there's any help here, or just send it to my local branch of RBS and let them find a home for it. Grateful for any ideas
  10. Put claim in on line back on 16/4/07. Let the required dates pass and waiting for today to check judgment when it said JUDGMENT HALTED, now I know what halted means, but what does it mean in the court sense? Be very grateful for some help
  11. Mcol Doesn't Want To Accept Claim, Says I Must Have Service Address In England Or Wales, Can't Believe Thats Right, Confused With Mint Address/southend On Sea Being Post Box, If Someone Could Help, Be Grateful, Many Thanks
  12. Right, hubby is working away until Monday and has left Mint in my capable hands lol, so please bear with me cos hubby wont ask silly questions, but I will. First one, is defendant Mint/ Mint Royal Bank of Scotland, or just RBS? Don't want to get that one wrong. Thanks Mrs CTJ
  13. hi, sent Mint response to settlement letter 30/4/07 asking for £500 and giving them 7 days to reply. Got letter back dated 10/5/07 saying banks final response, unable to enter into further correspondence with you, well credit card at the ready, and MCOL ready to go, taking far too long for me now. only trouble are there part of claim here anywhere, I've been dealing with SC&M and LTSB, am I right in thinking Cobbetts are solicitors for RBS, seems there is not as much info on Mint, and don't want to fluff it up now. Aware this is self-help site, but is it possible someone could point me in right direction as to easiest way to find POC's to claim from Mint. Many thanks
