  1. partly right, but until one understands each others personal and health circumstance one can not judge. As they say never judge a man till you have walked a mile in his shoes. Anyway i wasnt asking for an opinion on if you think i am fit for work i was asking for practical and legal advice on benefits and study. Im actually diagnosed as permanently ill, i also suffer a fair few mental health issues and am parcially sighted and thanks to europe funding and the labour government i have adaptations in my home that make thinsg like speaking on this forum possible as well as placements as most universities. They carry options like oh thanks for your help but i actually cant do this. But at least i will know i tried.
  2. Well it would be full time, i have had this discussion with my GP who has said he will happily write, sign anything for the DWP saying he is still signing me off work but also saying i have his full backing to study.
  3. Hello, i have some quick questions if anyone can help i dont want to be doing wrong things here. I have asked Income Support directly but they were not much use they just said yes thats fine loan parents do it! But i am not a loan parent ! I receive Income support on Incapacity grounds or something, have for years. I also get DLA both parts, i have awful vision and other health problems. Am i allowed to study? I can't sit here day in day out wasting away, what exactly am i allowed to do? The university have offered help and support. I do not intend to apple for any funding or grants at all.
  4. how do i arrange this? as neither side is interest in listening to me one single bit
  5. Ill make it brief as i can, basically a sanction was placed on my Income Support (incapacity grounds) for failing to attend to work focused interviews with a PRIVATE provider. My argument, i was never notified of the appointments or any contact was made with me at all! The letters were not received. I also didnt realise i had a sanction till nearly a year later i presumed was paying back social fund loans and things. Its only when i phoned to ask why i was still paying these loans they informed me i had a sanction. I calculated they have deducted £987.63 ! I have no had the sanction removed and basically got told where to go! I sent a letter stating i did not agree with any of it and basically stating everything i have here. I also informed Income Support i was giving them 30 days to provide me with a satisfactory response or i would issue small claims court proceedings. I have contacted the private provider, they say they sent the letters by normal post end of. I say i didn't receive them there is no proof. Income support say the provider owe me and have to sort it and the provider say income support owe me. Personally i agree income support stopped the money, they have the money and made the decision based on evidence sent from the provider. Can i take them to court? Is it small claims court? Do i take the DWP as a whole or Income Support as a body...?
  6. Fast track? I have no idea what it was, all i know id dell took money from my credit card. I called Dell and they refused to tell me anything about it as they had no record, so i then called HSBC MasterCard to tell them i had not made this transaction. They assured me that they would deal with it, they just ignored all my phone calls and told me they were dealing with it for 8 month . I then started with final request letters, there were 3 of these! They also ignored all these. The balance on my credit card has never gone below the amount i was charged so that should make this easier to work out. The transaction was 409.00 so any idea how i calculate interest? I also intend to submit this online.
  7. Hello, about 18 months ago DELL made an unauthorized transaction on my credit card. I have tried and tried to get HSBC MasterCard to refund this and they have basically told me where to go. To cut a long story short i think they have now had enough time, and im going to try and get the money via small claims court. Can i charge them interest? And on what? Can i claim compensation for distress and my time? And how could i calculate how much interest they have charged me on the sum that was deduced from my credit card? Interest rate of 15.9%
  8. That would be great if you could, it would be a real help!
  9. Natinwide applied a charge of 30 to my account for a cheque that someone tried to debit from my account. There wasn't enough funds in the account so they refused the cheque. I sent them your template with a few edits telling them this needs to be refunded. They refused! So now on the 11/04/2007 they will add the £30 to my account which will take the account in to -£30 plus a charge for an unauthorised overdraft. Can i just state that i am 17 so are they allowed to effectivley give me credit and allow the account to go minus? Also what can i do about them? I told them on the phone that the charge doesn't truly reflect their costs and they said oh well.
  10. i hope something because i have paid them £3 more for 9 months!
  11. All i can say is good luck, because i doubt you can prove it.
  12. Yes if you do want proof then you have to pay, however the max they can charge you is £10.00 not £17.50 and this is under section 7 of the Data Protection act!
  13. Sounds like something under the Disability Discrimination Act, you should have asked him what medical school he went to. I would make an official complaint to the Police but check the distance, as you need to be 10 meters (30ft) away from the junction.
  14. i have called them 3 times already and they say we are looking in to the matter and will get back to me and they never do. Adapting that letter wouldnt be that easy i want a letter that will just make them pay or can i just take legal action?
