  1. Its a standard "bog off" letter. Once your prelim deadline elapses send off your LBA.
  2. Sent refusal letter, stating I would accept the 750 as part settlement.

    help

By the time you had read the letter the money was in the bank. They don't give you an option to refuse. You can only react on the situation you are in by sending a letter of refusal like Jansus said. I recieved the same letter today and have sent off a reply saying I will accept it as partial settlement and will be persuing the remaining amount through the county court.
  4. Following on from previous post, would it be advisable to add a line into the N1 POC to the effect of "£750 GOGW to be deducted from total claim at the discrection of the court" ? I am going to deduct this from my schedule of charges and this will take my claim below £1000 including the interest, effectivley reducing my initial court costs.
  5. Well, after my being lazy, LTSB have deposited £750 in my account. Bless their cotton socks, they still don't understand why I am unhappy with their service charges ! On the plus side, they have said they are cancelling all charges I have not had a letter about.......2 days after the letter telling me about next months charges
  6. Hi people, Have been away with work and me mission has fallen by the wayside I need to get it starting again but its been the best part of a month and a half since the LBA deadline. Should I send another LBA or just start off from where I left off ? Also in the light of recent happenings I'm desparately seeking T&C's way back from 1995 !! Anyone seen these knocking about ?
  7. sorry made an edit to #38. any advice?
  8. thanks again curlychic. So "amount claimed" will be charges plus interest ? Just another query about N1. My details as Claiment - should i use my home address (scottish) on page one and supply my english address at the bottom of page 2 ?
  9. Thanks Curlychic....I can just about see a yes in there !! Am I right in saying I don't bother about those two boxes at the bottom of page 1 on the N1 ? And what about the statement of truth ? "claimants solicitors firm" ???
  10. OK !!! Tonight is N1 night ! Just completing it now for post tomorrow. Got to Section 5c of the POC and am wondering what daily rate of interest is. Is that the 0.00022% I've used in the past ?
  11. No probs Caz. If you ever want reassurance just give me a nudge. I'm only a message away
  12. Honestly, they will pay up before any court appearence. You look at all the success threads and see how many people go to court
  13. Great job nearlythere ! Did you use MCOL in the end ?
  14. Both to Customer care. Response is good from that address although automated replies come from Andover. Trust branch staff to pass on letters efficiently? Up to You I guess.
  15. Send to - Customer Care Lloyds TSB 125 Colmore Row Birmingham B3 3SF
  16. yes. change the details and then "save as". rename it so you dont overwrite your spreadsheet.
  17. I'll go anywhere !! You say slim chance ? You mean slim chance it will go that far ?
  18. Right. LBA cut off has passed, and no word from LTSB. I'm a bit angry with myself as I have to wait another week before sending off my N1. Ok, can I just clarify something ? As I live in Scotland and need to use an English court can I SEND my N1 to a court of choice? Assuming then the chosen court will deal with it ? I'm shying away from MCOL just because I hear LTSB poo-pooing it on the odd occasion. Any advice gladly accepted nanaman:cool:
  19. Lisa - When you know the money is yours, but its just a matter of time before you get it, it's all gravy !! Just a shame LTSB and [problem] can't get it into their heads that putting off the inevitable is a shameful waste of time ! Have fun
  20. If it was £30 i would say yes. £210 in his pocket or LTSB's ?
  21. Yes the sight of a big brown humanoid type Bear in an envelope would be most distressing....... sorry
