Hi Plum1990 I got the first ''good will'' letter on Friday. I then got the full offer letter on Monday. I phoned them and they said the money, all of it, would be in my account by the end of this week. They said this would be in 2 paymens. First the GW offer amount and then the balance. Its Wednesday now and I have not actually had any money yet

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the letter offering me a ''Good will'' payment. As I said in my last note I was going to send a reply telling them to stick it. Any way I forgot to post it and was going to post it today. Well, in the post this morning I have recd a letter saying they are going to pay back the lot, including court fees. Yipeee. So to all you others who are just about to start on a similar campaign, all I can say is stick it out. Thanks to all who gave me advice and when I have the money in my acount (approx 5 days) I will may a donation to the site

Thanks you guys. I have replied to Dunfermline, thanking them for their ''Good will gesture'' telling them that I have proceeded with court action an they should contact Trinity in Halifax, who I have been in corespondance with. (Using the no 5 template letter) Will keep you all informed.

I have had a letter from the bank, making me an offer which is just about half my claim. They say tey will put the money into my account and that will be the end of it. Should I accept. My wife is worried if we dont accept we will end up with nothing

I have filed an on line case with HMCS. I have had a letter saying the bank a disputing my case.This letter came at the 14th day after submission.How much longer do I wait and is there a chance this will go the whole way to court?

Thanks fo all your help up to now. My next question is that have have gone through filing a claim with the courts. This was said to have started on 30/6/07. I am led to understand that the bank has 14 days to reply. As it is now the 15/7/07 and I have not heard anything. what do I do now?

Friday. I phoned the bany as courtesy to let them know I had filed and that was the answer I got

I have gonr through the prcess of getting statements, sending letters and have now processed the Court action ion line. I phoned the bank to let them know that I had completed the court action letter and they just told me that their decision was final and I would not be getting any charges back. I am worried now that I will be getting additional court charges. Any help or info?

I live in England, but my a/c is with BOS in Scotland. I have however, put on the MCOL the Trinity House address for Halifax. When I completed the form and all the previous correspondane I had with the bank that I was claiming nearly £9K. Just as a matter of interest, I phoned the bank this morning to let them know I was proceeding with court action and they said their last letter said I was not entitled to claim and their decision was final. I am now worried that I will be getting charged additional court costs. What do you think?

I have been in correspondace with my bank for months now, and I have eventually filled out and sent on line the HMCS Money claim form. I did not notice the part about the £5000 so my claim is for nearly double that.. Have I done the wrong thing?
