I have recently received a bill from my Electricity supplier scottish manweb for £80. We currently have a pre payment meter. About three months ago a rep from Manweb came to my home to check the meter and stated that they were going to raise the prices of the electricity and would he want her to amend the meter, she asked him was this needed and he said no. Roll on three months later and the bill for £80 turns up on our doorstep, It already costs me £70 a month for electric. Can they just pass this extra charge onto people?
