Just out of curiosity, how many people have got their money back without being made to close their account?

Jenfreya, Can I ask how much you claimed for. I am worried they will do this with me as i have £2450 overdraft between my accounts with them and am only claiming £150 between the 3 accounts so am wondering if it is worth it!

I have 2 accounts with Nationwide - one with a 450 overdraft and one with a 2k overdraft. One the one with the 450 I have had 30 quid worth of charges and the other £120. I tried my first letter (see below) one the 30 quid charges and I just got a letter this morning from a Richard Huntly, thanking me, saying no and offering the internal appeal process or the internal appeal process. a) Is it worth me going for the £150 and if it is should I combine the charges into one appeal? b) Am I likely to be made to shut both accounts c) Does anyone know a replacement bank where I can get this level of overdarfts?

Well done. I sent the letter asking for the money (£150) to be in my account for next Wed to my own branch. I doubt somehow it will get in my account by Wed. What is the next step? Also I am a bit concerned as between my accounts I have £2500 worth of overdrafts and a nationwide loan. What is the liklihood of me getting a letter to shut my accounts?
