  2. Hi DoubleU, isn' it amazing what a good night's sleep can do!! When you do letters to your creditors, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN THEM type your name or use an alternative signature to the one that you normally use:wink:. You can't be too careful. Keep us posted and we will do all we can to help. Also, you can check on Royal Mail when they have received your letters by putting in the recorded delivery number from your stubb. It is always a good idea to print this off, then you know who signed for it at the other end:grin: x

  8. Hi everyone, I have just checked my credit file and Littlewoods have placed a default notice on my file. The thing is this debt is paid via my IP as i am currently in an IVA and have been since 2006. Are they allowed to do this? It says defaulted on bla bla 06...date when i was in IVA and file updated for 01.02.09. Any advice would really be appreciated. thanks
  9. Hello everyone, last year i sent a letter to the banks, requesting my charges back enclosing the spreadsheet. They sent me a letter saying sod off so i sent them a LBA. Then i received the letter to say everything was on hold due to the hearing. I am now a little confused as to what to do next, should i make an application to court and also, would i have to inform the banks that i am going to do this. I have also read something about them changing from penalties to charges...or the other way round:confused: Could someone point me in the right direction please, i dont want to naff it all up!! many thanks Emily
  10. Hi, if i were you, i would leave the letter to state NO PHONE CALLS because once they start, they don't stop, any time.....any place...anywhere!! I have first hand knowledge they hounded me for years before i found this site. best wishes
  11. Hi DoubleU, if you are anything like i did, you will have visions that when you go to Court that you will be stood in the dock whilst the sneering know it all solicitor is quoting caselaw left right and centre, with the Judge nodding. The truth is, it is nothing of the sort you will all be sat down, round a table and nine times out of ten the Mortgage / Loan company instruct an agent who has probably not had the papers in his / her's possession for long at all. The Judge will have already read the bundles from both parties prior to the hearing so five minutes will be long enough for you go get your case across. Get a duty solicitor at court if possible, i know you said you were going to enquire about one. You have great support on here. x
