i went online today to pay my egg card, and i discovered my account was missing, i rang egg and they said cause my new card wasn't activated i can't pay my account, they are sending me a new card as they have reported mine lost, but the ironic thing is cause i can't pay my account on time i'm going to incurr charges. i said this isn't fair! what can i do about this? i have read their terms and conditions but can't find anything relating to this

hello recieved a letter from cap one today , they say they are reducing my fees to £12 each and have reduced the amount by £72 , obviously this is not exceptable , what do i do next ?

hello , i have not sent off a LBA as yet as im not sure how to word it , remember i only ever made one payment to them, total amount owed is £429, i`ve worked out that they need to deduct £216 and i will be left to paythem £213 , im very unsure on how to word the LBA , as it states i will take them to a court claiming the full amount , but i can`t really as i still owe them £213 .sorry but its not making any sense to me! can any one adivse further big headache ,

last week 27th feb i sent the letter with charges by special delivery, it would of got back to them the next day being the 28th feb .i still have not heard anything . will i hear something soon ?, and if i dont do i then issue with a court notice?

i have just got all my statements from cap one statement date 9th janurary 02 it shows i have a £200 credit limit and transactions £197.55 finance charge of £29.00 , which was a annual fee ! (why do they take the annual fee out of the credit limit ) went on total owing £226.55 minimim payment £33.34, next statment shows previous balance and payment made £33.34 finance charges £39.85 new balance 233.06 on the 30 jan over limit charged £18.00 05 feb late payment charge £18.00 purchase interest £3.85 i only made one payment to them of £33.34 after that i could not catch up with there payment to get me under my credit limit. repayments was going up and up and after four statements they wanted a payment of £137.82 . i have also noticed somewhere in the statements 2 payments was made to the account total of £12.00 i know i never made them, because i was not living at the address when the payments was made. should i just ignore this? im not sure how to edit the next letter to send to them am i just asking for the charges to be taken off , remembering i only ever made one payment and that payment was made in the beginning of 2002. i am quite happy to pay what i owe but not happy to pay the charges they have added . Any help will be really good xxxxx

hello everyone, i sent a cheque to cap one and a letter sar , but my cheque has not been banked and i have heard nothing , i sent a copy of the letter to capquest and they acknowledge the letter, and my account is on hold for 28 days. any ideas on what to do next ?

i have requested proof from them they said it would take 3 weeks and asked my bank for statements for that date where will i find these cca letters many thanks for your replies x

my husband got a debt collector letter from lowell, saying they bought his debt off cap one of £623. my husband has not had any contact since or made any payment since 2000. he sent a letter for the six year limitation , and in return a letter from them stating that according to their information the last payment received was august 2003 but yet they have not supplied any information . what is the next step ?? any help appricated
