Son of Stone v Halifax pt 2
stonedecroze replied to stonedecroze's topic in Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland
Already started thanks Andy, but what I was realy wanting to know was, as this is as second claim for charges incurred since the original claim (now on hold with everyone else), do I pursue it all the way to court as a seperate claim, or wait till final decision on FSA case is known and just add to claim no. I . I have just sent LBA and wish to clarify my next step. :) -

Hi everyone, Here we go again finaly getting son`s second claim going. Have sent of SAR and this was responded to ( one again returning my £19 checque). then sent off letter 2 requesting refund of charges. This has been recieved but have had no response after 28 days, am now in process of sending off LBA. If there is same response to this do I next carry on and file at Court, even though I am fully aware that all claims are still on hold? or do I just sit and wait until judgment is handed down from appeal court? Thanks for help once again.:D

stonedecroze replied to stonedecroze's topic in Benefits and HMRC
Sorry mkb, I have no idea how they decided this as I just filled in the claim forms as I normally did, some numpty at their end decided that we were severly disabled. In fact it took the benefits clerk at my local council to sort ot the whole sorry mess, she was very helpful and realy genned up on benefits. Maybe you will find somebody like that at your local council. sorry not to be more help -
Benefits messed up, where do I stand?

Well here we go again, 14 months later H.M Custums and Revenue (Working Tax Credits) now are demanding repaymant of £571.83 immediately or if I ring number provided I can arrange for repayment over 12 months. So I rang number and was informed that if I think the overpayment was a result of their error, I can appeal disputed ammount, and if successful then I do not have to repay one penny. IMHO it was deffo their error as I gave them correct information on a number of occasions. appeal form downloaded and filled in a posted recorded delivery. now waiting with bated breath. -
