  1. Hello Francis and welcome. We're *always* nice - most of the time. You paint a clear and vivid picture but it may not necessarily tie in with how the DLA bureaucrats need it to be, in order to match their assessment processes, points scoring etc.. If I were in your shoes I'd give the local mental health Users' Group a ring to ask whether they can offer someone to give you a hand with the forms, or point to someone who can. In some areas CAB have specialists trained to deal with this but the service is inconsistent across the country. Well done for coming on here and finding the wherewithall to explain your complex circumstances.

  2. Have you not heard of zero hour contracts, let alone just part time work? Have you not heard of some councils, like Brent in London, shipping families 100 miles away to Birmingham to live as they cannot provide affordable homes in London? Hospitals sending patients hundreds of miles away for treatment as they cannot cope? These are the effects of mass immigration and quite unthinkable just a decade ago. And the benefits system is changing rapidly so yes, people will be sanctioned for not taking up any form of work in the future and the system will become so difficult to live on that people will be forced to travel for work miles away or face a life of hardship in the future. As regards to UK nationals leaving our shores with their whole families in droves to make a fantastically wealthy living in Bulgaria, Romania, Poland etc then it is a fantasy, it does not happen to Mr & Mrs UK Average. But it does apply to those coming to the UK from the above mentioned countries. It is happening now.

  4. Hi Sorry to say that your action with the £15 isn't a full & final settlement. These things have to be negotiated and agreed between both parties. If it were me I would send Lowell a CCA request. Also SAR to CapitalOne to see if there are penalty charges and/or PPI on the account which you could reclaim.
