You MUST respond to it. Do not ignore it.
You must keep to the County Court deadlines.
This means that you must acknowledge within 14 days
If you are going to defend then you must make your defence within 28 days of receiving the claim.
If you are not sure what do do then acknowledge the claim and take advice from the forum - or elsewhere.
If you do not keep to the timescales, you will find that the claimant will get an automatic judgment against you.
