  1. Posting for someone else.... Martin age 54 has been on dla for about 13 years after a road accident he has a degenerative illness and cant walk. Severeal times he has had an atos 'medical' at his own house. This time he is told that he must attend one at a centre. He only rarely goes to his doctor for painkillers as he doesnt leave the house, more recently he found it easier to get them from the interenet rather than journey of £18.50 each way to doctor in a taxi with a friend to help. So how can he secure a home visit because I don't think the doctors input will be considered enough.? Previously he was granted a home visit without the doctors input though.? How come suddenly he is expected to travel using 4 changes of bus which he absolutely cannot do.? So to reiterate, how can he get a home visit, should he ring the atos number on the letter to arrange one? What if they refuse? would that be a breach of his human rights even?
  2. Just as a favour I'm offering help with templates or amending templates too. If anyone needs help, or needs some custom changes made, I'd be more than happy to kick in and assist. Why? because CAG helped me loads and I think things like this need to be done on a free basis. years of IT experience, with years of experience with being in debt have honed my skills in this area to a diamond-sharp point What I don't do! You accounts or look through your books NOR want to see any of your personal details. What I do do: Help edit the templates (blank templates) to basically do waht you would like them to do Impossible No templates can't take out the garbage, do the ironing or wash the dishes lol, so if you have any mac or windows excel, numbers, word, pages help, I'm here if need be hope I can help! Cheers, A
  3. In the council environment I work in these are some extra hours available on Fridays for 3 months. I do not work Fridays. The manager has asked one person to do these hours for 3 months. This person has accepted. There were 4 people who would have been interested, if asked. This extra work was not made public until this was announced yesterday. Should extra work be advertised so all those interested can put their name forward or can you just give it to a "favourite" without asking others? Thanks.
  4. Hi can anyone help me. I had a loan with lombard direct in 2006, this was pay off in 2008 when I took out a further loan with them. I have since defaulted on this loan and its been passed to Arden which I have read is a dormant company but is also part of Idem credit. I assume they bought this debt and I am paying them a nominal amount each month. Lombard has offered me a payment of £1200 for paid PPi on the 1st loan (i didnt take it out on the 2nd as I was self employed) but states that this will go towards paying off the 2nd loan. As they don't own this loan any more can they do this or should they sent me a cheque to prioritise payments to my other debts. It seems unfair that I can not spread this over all my creditors.
  5. Hi all I was made BR in January this year; My employer has just informed me that I am entitled to voluntary redundancy, which I am seriously considering due to personal reasons. (referred to in other threads) I have been separated from my wife for two years and am wondering if, firstly the OR will claim any payment that I get and secondly, would my wife (and two dependent children) be entitled to half of this payment?
