  1. Hi All A new default has just appeared on my credit file for a loan from about 9 years ago, as far as we were aware this was a statute barred debt and it had already defaulted years ago. Is there anything we can do?
  2. ve just registered with Noddle to check my credit file out and couldn't quite believe what I saw. ( I cannot post a picture yet) so I have added a censored version below: Active Securities LTD Address Mark _________ Is A F**king Dead Man Cheshire WE'RE COMING I'm going to hit the "something wrong" button, but surely they shouldn't be able to post stuff like that on there? And just because I''ve got some finacial problems they shouldn't be able to threaten my life. just shows what low life **** were dealing with. Should I report this to the police? if so how?
  3. Noddle are showing satisfied CCJs as a separate entry from the original CCJ making it look as if there are lots of CCJs - is this legitimate ?
  4. I have just checked my credit report on Noddle and i have 5 old debts, it has red D's on every month up until now. the original default dates range from 2006 until 2007. I have attached an example.. Is this right?? These are all from companies like lowells, cabot etc..
  5. I just followed a link supplied by Bandit127 for `Noddle` free credit file info for life. I tried to register but was not accepted. Then my wife suggested I register in her name. The site accepted my wife`s application and so we checked what was on file. It showed three accounts. Two were up to date and correct. But, it showed one in default for £200. It had been registered by Lowell in 2009. My wife explained that the account is in relation to mail order and has always been in dispute. Letters were exchanged, telephone conversations had etc. Threatening letters received etc. But then nothing heard for years. It came as a bit of a shock when the wife read this information. My wife has never received any information about this being on her credit file. We thought that the debt collection agency could only put this on someones file, if the case had gone to Court. Can anyone elaborate on the criteria, that enables Lowells to put this information on ones credit file? Many thanks
  6. As per the title... my credit file with Noddle is more accurate and up to date than Equifax. I'm shocked!
  7. I'm on Noddle trying to get my credit report, filled in all my personal details and I'm now on a page that's asked me to enter my bank card details. Says it's for verification only and card will not be charged, but is it safe to do this? Thanks
  8. Hi guys, was thinking of using Noddle to see if Im still a fine upstanding chap worthy of multiple credit offerings - not that I want any ta very much. Im just a bit suspicious of it with it being owned by Callcredit - you know, the usual stuff, enter details for a FREE credit report and get hit by many DCAs chasing SBd debts to the point where it gets right on your bloody nerves! So has anyone used this service and found the letters coming thick and fast? Would be interesting to know. Thanks all.
  9. Hi, Been trying to get a copy of my credit report (for free) using Noddle but even spoofing the IP it just won't connect to the web domain Looks as though I will have to send off to the three CRAs manually - can't do it online as it does not accept overseas adress detials (experian at least any way) Any suggestions G
