  2. All banks are still obliged to give you this information under the Data Protection Act, so you can still write to ask for details of your charges if you do not have the information.

    here is the letter i got today.

     

    tks for writing to us again about the ppi that you still feel that you where

    mis-sold;

     

    as i,ve already explained . cap one ensures that or marketing material is clear and not misleading. ppi is opyional.

     

    you had 30 days cooling off that you had to cancel'

    this is our final responce in this matter.

     

    you got the full policy which includes full terms and conditions,

     

    so why shall i do now any help or link you can give me please thankyou

    after three letters to capital one , i have got my last one from them and thay say noway , they say i got the right info:lol: , and that is that, and this is all that i,m getting from them all, you ticked the box. so what shall i do know friends.

    May I please suggest you start you own thread on the forum, so we can keep a track on your claim.

     

    As for them sending their final response, well that is standard, it is their standard defence, hoping that you go away:rolleyes: They are hiding behind the fact that the fos will not investigate the matter and they are hoping and praying you will not take them to court;)

    I SENT FIRT LETTER TO BARCLAYCARD

    THEY HAVE SENT ONE BACK VERY FAST

    SAYING THAT I HAD 30 DAYS TO LOOK

    AT THE POLICY , AND THAT WAS MY COOLING of period

    that i could see if it was suitable or not, now this was 2001

    then i request it to be cancelled on the oct of 2004

    they say they have ordered up a copy of the application form and is being dispatched that will show that i chose to take out the p p i

    and i,m to go on to the ombudsman as this letter is there final response, so will i sendthe next letter, how can i make them pay up

  7. Hello everyone. I hope you are all well.

    Hope also someone can help.

    I have been with Kays for some time and have just noticed I have been paying huge amounts of money per month for ACCOUNT COVER, PLUS PROTECTS PAYMENTS AND PURCHASES.

    I have never applied for this and cant believe I have not noticed it before. They have taken over £400.00 in 11 months. I cant get previous statements before that up on Kays website. I have just paid the balance in full as this is not on. My next step is to demand back the money but before I do so , can you tell me if this comes under being mis-sold a product I did not apply for? I did recently complain to STUDIO for doing the same thing but instead of giving me back my money, they stopped the charges instead.
