  9. My 52 Plate TDCi Mondeo has just started doing the same thing, wouldn't start last night & had the Flashing Glowplug light, then once it did start it died (whilst doing 70 on the motorway!!).

Also seemed like it wasn't running on full power just before it cut out... very weird!

Booked into the ord dealership for Wednesday so here's hoping...

  10. Calls to Vodafone Customer Services ARE free - also any Vodafone Shop can tell you your balance, plus most if not all phones have a minute counter nowadays so you can even use that as a rough guide!

There' isn't really an excuse for 'not knowing' how much time you've got left on your priceplan I'm afraid!

If you call customer services (191), and select the option for Account Balance you get a free SMS telling you your current account balance etc.

  11. Exactly as Lucy says - YOU are dictating the play now, not them.

2 weeks is more than long enough for them to deal with this IF THEY WANTED TO.

Stick to YOUR timetable, and you WILL get your refund.

They insist on going around in the same circles, spouting the same scripts every time, but as soon as it comes down to having to explain themselves in front of a judge, in a courtroom they pay out. Why could that possible be I wonder...

Stick in there, your refund will follow I assure you.

  12. As far as I'm aware - and if I'm wrong someone will surely correct me! - you are living in England so you are under English law. It doesn't matter that you're Scottish, you're resident in England. So the limit in the Small Claims is £5000 and you can go back 6 years, hooray :D Make sure you send your letters to the bank's English address which I think is Halifax, Yorks. Good luck.

    Spot on!
