For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under.

There are two official bodies, the BPA and the IAS. If you are unsure,

please check HERE - I'm not 100% sure but they have a complaints section and they mention BPA.

How long was the loan term. 1500 interest is extremely excessive and there's a few avenues open.

Hey, what avenues would she have? Still struggling with monthly payments and now some solicitors have sent her a letter saying she has 7 days to pay 2months of arrears. otherwise L2G will serve a default notice and look to reclaim the money by legal routes.

My bad, it doesn't mention 'fine'

  4. Good evening,

I have received a letter from MET Parking Services starting that a fine is now overdue, the problem is, no initial letter was sent.

They are demanding payment within 14 days, what is the best way forward. I go to Stansted a lot and I'm not 100% sure the charge is genuine as it was from a few months ago.

Date of incident is the first week of November and this is the first letter I have received regarding this (today).

  5. Full of defaults, yes. One credit card and a rather large bank loan.

Will forward that link to her.

    Length, 18 months.

Edit: she just checked and said its mainly late payments on her accounts.

Will different credit report companies show up different results?

Situation is similar to mine in terms of she's been making reduced payments on her unsecured loan for 6+ months so it shows as payment has been made on her clearscore.

  6. Good evening all, writing this on behalf of my friend who is in need of some help.

She took out a personal unsecured loan 3/4 months ago with Loans2Go for £500 and the amount that needs to be repaid is a smidge over £2,000 (Crazy interest rates, is this legal?)

She's struggling with the monthly payments and will not be able to make this months payment.

What's the best route forward for her?

She also mentioned when she signed up they only sent her a CPA agreement and no documents about the loan T&C's etc.

    Thank you

  8. I understand, I will keep you guys updated if anything changes.

Do you mean I have a slim chance of losing in court as I am still paying them all I can afford?

Also I've renegotiated with my other credit and dropped them down to a certain amount so I can pay Tesco equally.

Shall I just send them this new budget form with updated details of this and mention I will be paying them the new amount monthly?

Or just leave it all and just carry on paying x/month without replying like DX mentions.
