When reclaiming PPI on a loan taken jointly is the interest recovered deemed to be split equally between both parties? and how does this work for tax purposes?

Thats ok I get that now but all they have sent is a copy of the credit agreement from the lender. What does a notice of assignment consist of?

I have been dealing with MMF and a while back I asked them for proof that the debt had been assigned to them (actually I used a downloaded template that used the expression Deed of Assignment which have been a mistake). Any they replied quoting sections 77,78 and 79 of the consumer credit refusing this on the grounds of commercial sensitivity. Any thought?

Mr Lender who now seemed to have backed of and Valour/Lightning Loans.

I have posted complaints about 2 lenders to the FOS and passed the reference numbers to them, yet they are both still chasing, one quite aggressively. Are they meant to suspend action while complaints are being investigated?

Just a belated update - eventually got the default removed took about 20 emails to the lenders alliance address.

Haven't done so yet. It is my experian file as well not on Noodle/CallCredit. I am not sure of the relevance but about the same time I got a statement from MEM (PayDay UK) for an account settlled in 2010 that they said I had requested ( I hadn't).

For information the contact on the credit file entry directs you to the UKLenders Alliance who after numerous emails finally told me that the loans was settled and they had no record of a default.

The date is 24/11/2010 but it didn't appear on my credit file until 19/05/2013.

Exactly the same thing has just happened to me, only the loan was repaid in 2010. No default notice was served at the time.

You will probably have to write using recorded (signed for) delivery before 247 will respond to any contact attempts

ok but with regard to my other point can you count paying rollover charges for a couple of month towards total repayment?

I have routinely seen the following advice posted;

"for pdls, work on the basis that you owe the loan, original stated interest and a default fee. If they want the charges, they can justify that that are fair and proportionate first" Is there any basis for this? and does paying rollovers class as part of this repayment?

Can they refuse payment or part payment by cheque
