  1. Hiya Chester6.

    Put simply we were told to bully, coerce and imtimidate any client who we thought was reluctant to work, any client we thought was being awkward and any client who stood in the way of our targets and to ignore any disability they might have...... Use threat of sanctions whenever we felt like it.....I never sanctioned anyone myself cos I believe in working with the client, helping them over come any barriers they had and finding the type of job THEY want.

    I had many disagreements with my manager because I would argue the point that if a client is in a job they like, then they are likely to enjoy it and keep it. My manager just wanted them in any old job, a quick buck, easy money. But the client would soon leave or be sacked.

    The Providers have a very high rate of staff turnover... any "advisor" not meeting their own target would soon be unemployed themselves. Therefore staff will try to meet their targets by "any means necessary"....

    My advice to anyone is simple.....Dont sign the Data Protection Form, if you already have then write them a letter withdrawing your consent. This makes you useless to the Provider, you soon get forgotten about (parked)... They cant make a penny out of you and they only see you once a month or in my case once every 2 months...ha ha

    I've been referred back to Ingeus after spending 18 weeks with a sub-contractor, Ingeus don't want me back, I'm one of the most awkward customers known to man...

    Advisors left their jobs due to my awkward antics, lol. I don't mean to be awkward towards Ingeus, i just am! :whoo:

    My advisor needed one extra 'Brownie Point' so he could keep his job, he lost his job because i withdrew consent when i got a job! He was so :mad2:.

    I'm with a new Advisor now, he knows my past history and is doing anything in his power to make my life hell. So, bring it on pal!...

  2. @flumps...

    An advisor at my local job centre was punched in the face due to the threat of a sanction, i don't condone his act of violence and i would never attack anyone...

    I think the work program can be a stressful time and it takes a strong person to overcome its problems. I'm not a violent person, but from time to time i get stressed and could hit someone if i let it get me down too much, i find Ingeus advisors hard to deal with and i could lash out at times, but i stop myself! lol...

    BE STRONG AND DON'T LET THE $£"*&%*"% GET YOU DOWN! ;)

  3. I've been referred back to Ingeus after my 18 week holiday (sub-contractor). Things have changed back at Ingeus, they have new advisors which are brainwashed into thinking that its easy to find a job...

    I thought i would be left alone until next year after being offered a Christmas temp position, but no!...

    My new advisor is being a $£%£! I hate being back at Ingeus, my life was so so happy with the sub-contractor. They left me alone and let me get on with my job search in the comfort of my own home with fortnightly appointments.

    Now i have to visit Ingeus 1-2 times a week to job search which i already do at home, they have put me on stupid courses which have no benefit to me.

    I was expecting 5 weeks of peace until i started my temp position, Ingeus seem to be targeting me now, i want this job to start so i can be left alone for 5 weeks or so.

    I will definitely be withdrawing my consent when i start the job, would Ingeus get any money from the job outcome if i didn't withdraw consent? If so, how much? I would like to claim 2 weeks petrol if possible from Ingeus so i can get to work....lol...

  4. Can someone please give me some advice…

    I’m currently on JSA and receive an amazing £71 per week, which helps me look for work etc. I’ve been offered a job but its only 8-16 hours per week, I asked my advisor about working under 16 hours and he said I should be able to claim the majority of my JSA?

    I want to work, but I don’t want to be worse off!!! I don’t want to say anything to the job centre/work programme provider, as this may affect things…

    I don’t want to sign off and be worse off…whilst “Mr Ingeus Bank Ltd” get their bonuses and rent paid for…..

    I’ve learnt that its best to keep ones mouth shut when it comes to the work programme, I find the work programme providers aloof and they only concur with you when you’ve got a job!

  5. A4e failing miserably....

    Anyone know the figures for Ingeus?...

    I’m guessing very similar to A4E?...........................

    Does anyone know how these sub-contractor companies work? I’m currently with Sencia, I’ve been mandated to them for 18 weeks. Some questions…

    1. Do Ingeus and Sencia get paid for a job outcome, or just Sencia?

    2. I know about withdrawing consent etc,(my next plan)…Would it be best to not tell the Job Centre/Sencia/Ingeus when I get a job? Just sign off?

    3. After the 18 weeks, will I be referred back to Ingeus?

    I’m just sceptical about this new place (Sencia). I find their Advisors to be like leeches, they grab hold of you and are only after BLOOD! (blood money) lol.

  6. ! Scientiam don't even have landline phones,, computers yes but only four!

    So, what’s this Scientiam place like? I might be referred here in the next few weeks, or to the other place “Marshall House” or something like that.

    Can you claim travel whilst your with Scientiam, or can you only claim travel from Ingeus? Also, can you still visit Ingeus for job searches etc…

  7. don't bother with the obligatory countdown because your parachute won't deploy in time to prevent the inevitable.

    Houston?...

    Ingeus we have a problem! Lol....

  8.

    And don't mention w2w on the CV.

    When I attend Interviews I talk about W2W. I tell them that I require a signature to prove I’ve attended an Interview, so I can then claim travel.

    I tell them how they’ve done nothing for me, and that I’ve found and applied for all my own jobs. So, is that why I’m still unemployed?....

    LOL.

  9. They haven't got the job description right, they have left out the bit about being adept at copying signatures.

    Hmmm, Maybe I should have changed my signature to Mickey Mouse! They wouldn’t try to copy that now would they, or even better Ingeus DoLittle! hahaha

    :lol:

  10. Let’s play the money game.

    Things you’ve claimed for at your local Ingeus Office?

    Haircut = £10 Well, it did need doing. For an interview of course!

    Suit = £50 (Interview)

    Shoes = £30

    Travel = £110

    Food Hygiene Certificate = £20

    Interview in London = £120 including Travelodge

    Can anyone beat me? hahahahaha:oops:

  11. I am pretty sure they claim the travel expenses back. I do drive but I always take public transport whenever I'm going to the Providers office for appointments/courses, so I can claim the money back. They take photo copies of the bus tickets as proof.

    You can claim 20p per mile, and you can claim car parking. You would need evidence for parking, either a Park & Ride ticket or similar.
